Picture 2 is Matthew channeling his inner Jedi to build his Yoda masterpiece. I like how you have used instructions to help build Yoda to scale.

"This is my Eiffel Tower which is in France. I built it using some of my Lego bricks. I started with the base using small square pieces and then added a large square piece for the middle. I used other pieces to build the centre and then I put a flag pole on top. To build this Eiffel Tower I took 25 mins but most of the time it was searching for the right piece of Lego." “It took me around 2 weeks to build my Yoda. It was built using 13 different bags of Lego. The first several bags were used to build his body and the rest were used to finish his head. He is 28cm tall while a normal Yoda is only 3cm tall. An interesting fact about it is that he has 3 fingers on each hand. This is all I have to say. Bye!” Matthew: Primary 6.
“The topic for this week was to make something 3D. Over the weekend I made this 3D puzzle of the Eiffel Tower. I've had this puzzle for a while and have wanted to build it but I never had time to as it is so large. On the inside of the puzzle pieces there are numbers and I had to figure out which pieces joined. It took me a long time but I really enjoyed it and my little sister even helped me with a few pieces. I enjoyed it so much that my Mum bought me the Big Ben 3D puzzle and I will send you a picture of that when I get it done. I then decided to do some research on the Eiffel Tower to find out some facts.”

- It was supposed to be temporary for 20 years.
- It took 2 years to build.
- It was the tallest structure in the world until 1930, this is when the Chrysler building in New York was complete.
