First Communion
Dear Parents/Guardians,
In consultation with Fr. Mongan, dates have been agreed for First Communion.
The children have already received First Confession.
Details are as follows:
First Communion in St. Brigid’s Church
Friday 18th September 2020
12.30pm -first group of children, names to be advised next week.
3pm -second group of children, names to be advised next week.
The plans reflect social distancing measures and the need to implement safety procedures to keep everyone safe. Plans are subject to review and change pending on circumstances over the summer and guidance.
Each child is to have maximum of 3 family members present for the ceremony. This is in line with guidance. I apologise that this is not the usual format of our First Communion ceremony, however we will make First Communion as special for the children as possible.
