As part of our topic 'Yum, Yum, Yum!' Martina the School Cook came to visit P1/ 2 last Friday. The children had a great time asking Martina different questions and finding out all about her job. The children told Martina about their favourite school dinner too. Martina was so impressed with everyone, and she invited us to the canteen to help with the preparation of pizza for school dinners on Monday.
Thank you Martina for being a wonderful school cook and for taking time out of your busy job to talk to the children in P1/ 2. Thank you for allowing the children the opportunity to experience watching a cook at work, and for allowing them to help with making the pizza. We had a fantastic time and the pizza tasted delicious!
