Instructional writing.
Step 1: Familiarising
In class we raised our awareness of instructional writing. We read, listened to and viewed lots of examples of our new writing genre.
We discussed our understanding of this type of writing and where we would find it. Afterwards we were presented with examples of the type of writing and we highlighted the key features.
